The first tip is eat on a fixed schedule. This will help you to control your cravings and boost energy by providing energy to the body when it expects it. Your food choices play a major role in your stress levels, food cravings, and energy throughout the day. Smart nutrition and healthy eating habits make it easier to control stress levels, control cravings, and feel energized from sun up to sun down.
First of all, you want to get what you eat under control and not by depriving yourself of food. This can actually do more harm than good because your body’s natural response will be to slow down your metabolism. Some of the best eating habits you can adopt are to eat a healthy breakfast, which initially revs up your metabolism, and to eat several small meals throughout the day rather than two or three larger ones. This generally cuts down on the total calories consumed, and it keeps your energy level and metabolic rate up.
The importance of nutrition also entails eating the correct portions of food. Eating too much, which is beyond what your body requires, often result in obesity. When you eat more, you also gain more pounds. Weight loss is best achieved by eating the right quantities of food. Reduce the quantity of food that you eat gradually.
Between these two feelings, what is the difference? It is the state of your life energy. Your life will be miserable when your energy flow is too. Nothing you can do will change it until you change the flow of your life energy. Being filled with positive energy, you cannot be depressed. You won’t lie there waiting for life to pass by as you will be too involved in it to waste time like this.
Many people think they can’t make big changes in their life. But, do you think you could make just one healthy change in the next week – even a small one. You see, it’s all about taking “small steps.” If you can make just one small change each week, then by the end of one year you will have made 52 healthy changes! And those changes add up to real transformation!
Next, eating breakfast is a great way to get much of the fiber you need for the day. Choose cereals with at least 4 g of fiber per serving. My favorite cereal is rolled oats with a little brown sugar blend and fat-free butter spray. Also, fruit is full of fiber. Start your day with an orange or an apple.
You’ll feel sated if you drink a minimum of eight cups of water per day. Water will also help clear your system, it’ll help keep your skin soft, and you’ll generally feel much better; plus it’ll help you take the pounds off.
Make an emotional and physical commitment to completing your goal! Goals are not achieved if you’re not committed 100% to making them reality. Your goal has to be important enough that you’re willing to commit time, energy and money to making it reality. On a scale of 1 – 10, ask yourself how important is this goal? Why is it important? How will achieving this goal change life for the better?
